Matchroom Boxing has officially announced a light heavyweight showdown between Ben Whittaker (12-0-1) and Conor Wallace (17-1).
The bout has been confirmed as an official IBF light heavyweight final eliminator, with the winner moving one step closer to a world title opportunity. The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds and will take place on October 3, 2026, at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The event will be streamed live worldwide on DAZN.
Ben Whittaker (12-0-1) remains unbeaten as a professional. The British light heavyweight won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games before turning professional in 2022. Since joining the paid ranks, he has compiled a record of 12 wins, no losses, and one draw. His notable victories include Richard Rivera (27-3), Liam Cameron (24-8-1), and Benjamin Gavazi (19-2).
Conor Wallace (17-1) enters the fight on a 10-fight winning streak. The Australian light heavyweight has suffered just one defeat as a professional, losing to Leti Leti (18-2). Among his victories are wins over Dylan Colin (14-3) and Asemahle Wellem (11-2-1).
